TreeHouse Partners with WebAssist for Training

Posted by Steve DeVries on December 16th, 2008

Our goal has always been to provide the very best in design, development, optimization, and training. To continue this tradition, TreeHouse has partnered with WebAssist to create an interactive training platform that will serve as the new standard in SEO training. This will dramatically improve the quality of our training modules and allow for true interactive teaching. We are very pleased with the progress so far and look forward to showing it off to you all.

We estimate the first module (Keywords and Best Practices) will be completed and available to the public in February 2009. Currently, we plan on building 5 modules that will cover the entire scope of SEO from keyword analysis to inbound linking.

TreeHouse Labs Status

Posted by Steve DeVries on November 17th, 2008

TreeHouse Labs, our training wing, is growing rapidly and nearing completion. We are currently working with a partner to deliver our training material in a fully interactive and engaging manner. Our goal is to have this training material available in the next couple of months. As of this post, the material covers the following main topics:

1.) Keywords and Best Practices
2.) Onsite Optimization
3.) Offsite Optimization
4.) Dynamic Sites
5.) Tracking Results

We are really proud of the material we have so far and are looking forward to getting this out to everyone. There is no reason that someone should have to search 20 locations to get good, trustworthy information on SEO when the knowledge is already compiled in any easy-to-follow training format. No quick overview. No sales pitch masquerading as training. Just the complete story from A to Z on how to get your Web site optimized.

We will continue to bring you updates as soon as they are available.

New TreeHouse SEM Site is Live!

Posted by Steve DeVries on October 23rd, 2008

We’re very pleased to announce that the new TreeHouse SEM site is now live!  It’s been a long process determining how we wanted to wanted to lay out the site, but we are confident it will be easier to navigate and provide much more useful information.  We want to send out a special thanks to Aldryn and Guissella for working the long hours to get everything up between client projects.

Our next step is TreeHouse Labs.  This is being built with the intention of being the single best place on the Web for training material related to SEO.  Over time, we want to expand it to also incorporate design and development best practices to form a complete resource for Web identity.  Stay tuned for more updates as we complete new portions of the site!

New TreeHouse Site in Beta

Posted by Steve DeVries on October 22nd, 2008

The new TreeHouse SEM site is finally in Beta. We should have something up in the next couple of days. Our goal is to provide as much content as possible in as easy a manner as possible, but that’s not as simple as it may sound. We are in the process of generating as much content as we can while ensuring the site looks proper in all browsers (which is a whole project in and of itself). Internet Explorer 6 is nothing but a problem when it comes to CSS, png files, and JS. We should have it working properly in IE6 shortly and then we’ll feel confident enough to launch the site.

Redesign and Redevelopment

Posted by Steve DeVries on October 8th, 2008

As many of you already know, the TreeHouse site is in the process of being redesigned to better reflect our focus.  It should be up very shortly now.  In preparation, we’ve setup the new blog and we’ll be posting here regularly about design, SEO, SEM, and Web development.  Hopefully, you’ll find some of the information helpful for your own sites.

The design for the new site is pretty much completed now and we’re just finshing up odds and ends.  We want the site to be a resource for Webmasters looking for good information on the entire design, development, and optimization process.  We are especially looking forward to launching TreeHouse Labs; our online training and research area.  Detailed SEO information will be available at no charge online to help stimulate conversation and further research in the field.

We are also looking forward to launching an all new Campaign Central.  This will be pushed live sometime before the end of the year.  Campaign Central will be the hub for all of our client campaigns containing project status information, ranking reports and important contacts.  Due to the large amount of development work associated with it, Campaign Central will relaunch later this year and not with the new site.

Please check back over the next few weeks for continued updates on the new site and its launch…
